It’s Spring! In celebration of the nicer weather, what are your favorite outside activities to do in the Frederick area.

  1. The Frederick Symphony Orchestra will be performing Forbidden Love in the Jack B. Kussmaul Theater at Frederick Community College on June 17, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

    The Symphony will begin with The Titanic Medley by James Horner. This will be followed by selections based on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, including Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet (also known as A Time for Us) by Nino Rota and Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

    After intermission, Associate Conductor Andrew Rosenfeld and the FSO will perform the theme from Forrest Gump by Alan Silvestri and Calvin Custer and selections from Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Custer.

    The show will close with Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein.

    Individual concert tickets are available online at MDTix: https://www.mdtix.net/index.php?event_id=583. All tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event based on seating arrangements.
