  1. Has anybody had good or bad luck with any of the bouncy house rental places in the area? I’ve seen some not great reviews of backyard inflatables online (not showing up on time), but would be interested in any thoughts. We’re looking to do something for my son’s 5 year old birthday. Thanks!

    • My grand=daughter broke her elbow in a bouncy house when she was 3 or 4 years old. Those things are more dangerous than they look, especially if bigger kids get in.

    • Backyard Inflatables is actually pretty good if you’re onsite. I can’t speak for the private rentals.

Only thing is that the equipment seemed more geared towards the 8-10 year old range. I would suggest the place in the mall.

      • Backyard Inflatables (onsite location) off RT 85 is a lot of fun, my 4 year old loves going there. However I will say they need to double check their safety protocols. I noticed in several places the little metal anchors that hold the inflatables down were exposed. For the most part they have safety covers over them, but there were a few that were not covered and exposed. All it takes it is for a child to slide out of the bouncy and land on one of those anchors and bust their head open. Also my daughter was bouncing in the “toddler room” and because they have some of these inflatables so close to the wall, she banged her head against a mirror they had along the wall while bouncing. Again, I like the place, but they need to double check how safe their setup is.

      • Dave, we had The Fun Bus a few years ago for our daughter’s fifth birthday party and it worked out very well for us.

    • Randy White is a whack-a-do looking for a pay day. This is nothing more than a conspiracy theory at best. I couldn’t even make it through the video. Randy is a joke in this town, probably why he moved out.
