  1. Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 31 East Church Street in Downtown Frederick, invites you to our annual ChristKindlMarkt (a German Christmas Festival) on Saturday, December 5 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Event is FREE and Open to the Public!

    Enjoy German Brats, Sauerkraut, Warm German Potato Salad, Cucumber Dill Salad, and German Green Beans. Shop for unique Christmas Gifts from local vendors and from our own ELC Crafters. In conjunction with Grace Reformed United Church of Christ located at 25 East 2nd Street. Free Church Tours from 1pm-4pm. ELC Docents will be available to answer questions on our history from 1738 through the present.   2. Does anyone know whether there will be another New Year’s Eve “key drop”? Any other fun NYE events going on downtown? Looking for some non-bar options for a small group of adults.

    Thursday, Dec. 24:
    5 pm Pageant and Eucharist 4:40 prelude with choir and flute
    8 pm Holy Eucharist 7:40 prelude with choir and harp
    10:30 pm Festival Eucharist 10:10 prelude with choir and harp
    Friday, Dec. 25:
    10 am Holy Eucharist
