    • A Greek restaurant is headed to that space; not sure of any details though. From what I read, the couple that runs Hinode is close to retirement and leaves down in the Gaithersburg area and the 10-year lease was up on that space.

  1. Where can I get fireworks now? Not real ones, but the ones legal here. Want some for a party and they are only in the grocery stores during July 4th week. Any ideas of places that carry them year round?

  2. Can anybody recommend an auto body shop they trust in Frederick? Any Domestic/Ford/Muscle specialists would be a bonus. Need some aftermarket parts painted and installed and some basic lift work (exhaust replacement). Thanks!

  3. Mayta’s Peruvian Cuisine is now open in the Westview shopping center. I ran in to get a menu and it is really interesting. The place itself is kind of small and spare but I’m really looking forward to picking something up from there.

      • My wife and I came in yesterday. For sure, an interesting menu. We both liked the food very much. Sorry we had to rush out, but she had an appointment that she had to meet.

Looking forward to visiting again soon!

  4. My spouse and I had lunch today at Mayta’s Peruvian Cuisine. I tried the pulpo tiradito, which was an octopus carpaccio, and my husband had the tallarin saltado carne, which was on the wok-Chinese Peruvian street food section of the menu and was a bit like a beef lo mein but way better. We also split a side of the fried yucca, and the chef sent us out complimentary roasted potatoes after we ordered. Everything we tried was really, really good. Looking forward to working our way through the rest of the menu.
