  1. FYI – Found a wonderful restaurant serving international cuisine – The Melting Pot located at the West Pointe Plaza off of Route 40 in Frederick. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great home cooked meal with large portions for an excellent price. Give it a try – you won’t be disappointed.

    • Lynn, I saw on The Melting Pot’s Facebook page a few days ago that they are closed until further notice. Any idea what is going on?

  3. Looks like Le Parc Bistro on West Patrick Street (where Mick’s and Jennifer’s were) is now open. Has anyone tried it yet?

  4. Re: Market Street Fusion, my husband and I tried it he Saturday before last. Just at the bar and had drinks and appetizers. The cocktails were very well made and reasonably priced. Had the chicken “lollipops” which really were just drum sticks but still tasty and they me with really good kim chi that the bartender said was made in-house. Also had the pork belly sliders and goat cheese fritters. All very good as well. I would go back.

  5. First Baptist Church of Green Valley is hosting its ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT on Saturday, April 4, 1:30-2:30 PM at the Gaver Farm (5501 Detrick Rd, Mt. Airy, MD). FREE Family fun for everyone with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Snack and drink provided. Don’t forget your basket!

    • I use the FMH system. The beauty of such a system is that the hospital, radiology outpatient, and clinics are all connected, so one needn’t hassle with different specialists and start anew.

    • I am also a woman in her 30’s and I have been happy with Frederick Primary Care (FCPA), the 63 Thomas Johnson location. I’ve heard mixed things about their other locations though. I see Dr. Hundemer.

  6. Hi everyone I’ve been off the forum for awhile because I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer late January, had surgery in early February and I’m still recovering from that and have started chemo treatments. I would like to find an ovarian cancer support group IN Frederick. I know that there’s one in Ijamsville but I’m most definitely not up to driving that far. I don’t even want to ride in a car that far if someone else is driving. I have yet to drive at all and may start driving myself to chemo (on TJ Drive) this week. My oncologist told me to find a group but had no info on where they are. My gyn oncologist only knew of the Ijamsville group.

    Thank you
