The women of Key City Roller Derby, Frederick’s first and only flat-track roller derby team, are excited to host a bout on Saturday, May 10th at the overflow parking lot for Harry Grove Stadium (21 Stadium Drive, Frederick).
They will face off against Sussex Couny Delaware’s Southern Delaware Roller Girls. It is a pleasure to be able to include them in this circus-themed event, entitled “Battle Under The Big Top.”
Entry will begin at 1 p.m. and the first whistle will be blown at 2 p.m. Adult tickets are $10 in advance (visit www.mdtix.com), and $13 at the door. Admission for children ages 3 to 12 is $7 in advance ($10 at the door) and children under the age of 3 are free.
The ticket price includes admission to the bout, admission to the Frederick Keys game immediately following the bout (vs. Winston-Salem), halftime music by Quasi Flannel, a special flame-throwing show and more! A fireworks display will follow the Keys game.
