Long Suffering Civil War Mannequin Gets A Break

Some breaking news from Jim:

Walking down E. Patrick this week I saw the display window of the Museum of Civil War Medicine EMPTY and signs posted on the window saying a new display is coming! This poor Union Army dude has been lying there in agony longer than the war itself (at least ten years). Did he live? Did he die? Any guesses? Maybe the new display will be of a limb amputation!

  1. For some reason Jim’s comment on the Civil War Mannequin just cracked me up! When I would pass by this poor, dying soul downtown I used to be afraid to make eye contact with him. I, too, wondered about his outcome…Now he’s off to Mannequin Warehouse Heaven. Maybe he’ll be reincarnated as someone else with a happier assignment.
