Frederick’s Church Street Garage to Reopen Friday

From the Gazette:

Workers repaired joints in the building, as well as replaced and fixed major parts of some of the floors, said Steve Johnson of the city Parking Department.

Josh Russin, executive assistant to Mayor Randy McClement (R), said the garage would reopen for hourly usage Friday and open to monthly parkers on Monday.

The project, which cost $700,000, is expected to extend the life of the building by seven years, according to Johnson.

The project was completed without problem and met the deadline for reopening, he said.
