Store Opening

From my inbox:

I wanted to drop a note about a store opening in Frederick this week, in case it’s of interest to FMO readers. On Friday, June 22, Five Below will open a new location in Frederick Crossing.

Not sure if you are familiar with the store, but Five Below is geared towards teens and tweens and offers of trend-right, high-quality merchandise for $5 or less. Merchandise includes nail polish, sports and workout equipment, toys, games, iPhone accessories, fashion accessories, and more.

Frederick Crossing is on Guilford Drive and the store is located ironically (in my opinion anyways) right next to the Dollar store.

  1. I love that it’s located near the dollar store. One of my guilty pleasures is a once a month stop at the dollar store to see what kind of goodies I can find. (I also occasionally take my son there on a rainy day to choose a new toy. He doesn’t care that it only costs a dollar and he feels like a big boy using his own money.) I’m excited for Five Below to open. I love to visit the Hanover location when I visit with my parents. I can see myself making a day out of the dollar store, Five Below, Goodwill and SalVal!

  2. Nope. No teens or tweens or anyone else in this house interested in any fads of any kind . We’ll never go in. And we don’t believe for a moment that we’re missing anything.

    • I don’t have teens or tweens either but it’s a fun little store if you like that kind of thing. It’s certainly not a place where I’ll shop for every day items.

    • I’m just so disappointed to see yet another Dollar Store, Ollie’s, thrift store knock off. What’s next? Big Lots? There are so many other stores we could really use and we keep getting more of the same.

    • As my 25 yr old son says “The only reason you live in Hagerstown is because you can’t afford to live in Frederick.” Bloody honest.
