Wine Down, Cartoon Fest, and New Year's Eve

Some Frederick fun for you:

  • First Saturday “Wine Down” – Check out January First Saturday’s new theme, and wind down from the holiday season in Downtown Frederick. This event feature a variety of opportunities for people of all ages to pamper themselves, including food & wine tastings, mind & body therapies and so much more! More than 80 restaurants and shops will be open until 9pm or later.
  • Family Cartoon Festival – Calling all kids and kids at heart, join us for fun filled afternoon with Cartoon Fest on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. Bring the whole family and enjoy some of your most loved cartoon characters and all their friends on the big screen! Tickets are just $7 for adults and $5 for seniors, students and children and are on sale now at the Weinberg Center box office, by phone at 301-600-2828, or online.
  • And of course it’s New Year’s Eve this Saturday –  If you know of any New Year’s Eve activities, please post them in the comments.

  1. I know Bentz is doing a Open Bar w/ Buffet – $40/person, DJ and Dancing All Night Long, Open Bar Includes all Beer, Wine & Most Liquor, Midnight Toast & Party Favors!

    They also said you can pay as you go if you are not interested in paying 40$ up front.
