  1. I’ll give it a few days to settle down and let them get into the swing of it, then go. I have a friend visiting from Chicago next week and will take her there.

  2. My wife and I went today. It was not as crowded as I expected (we got there early though). Food was great (I had the Cuban sandwich and split pea soup. My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich and alphabet soup), prices were very reasonable ($5 for a sandwich, $3 for the soup) and it only took 5 minutes or so to get our food. All in all, we were very impressed. I hope that enough people continue to eat there to keep the place running. It’s definitely the kind of place that the people of Frederick could enjoy.

    • It looks like they are open daily from 11:30am – 6:30pm. (I had to dig on the website for this, as well. Looks like the site went for form over function.. 🙂 )

I am looking forward to checking this out sometime.

  3. Took an out of town guest to Lunch Box yesterday. We loved it! The shitake soup……..makes you want to fall face forward into and drown in it’s glory. It’s that good. We went right at noon and the line was long but service was very fast. We did manage to get a table as most people take their lunch to go. The line was still quite long when we left about 40 minutes later. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and my friend had the portabello mushroom sandwich – both were excellent. We left comfortably full and quite happy. Definitely going back!
