Some weekend fun for you:
- First Saturday, Holiday Open House — Kickoff your holiday shopping season downtown with great food and drink provided by Wegmans and our local merchant community. November’s First Saturday features an evening of carriage rides, food & wine tastings, exhibit openings, guest artists and live entertainment. Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
- Mud Dog Run II — A 5K course with water, fire, and MUD. There will be a post run party featuring Flying Dog beer, and food. The race takes place at Crumland Farms on Saturday, November 5, 2011. A portion of the proceeds from the race will help start the FISC Foundation, whose purpose is to provide scholarships to local athletes of all ages. - American Buffalo at the MET — In a Chicago junk shop three small-time crooks plot to carry out the midnight robbery of a coin collection. In the hours leading up to the heist, friendship becomes the victim in a conflict between loyalty and business in this often humourous, gripping, award-winning drama. Plays until November 20th. - A Night at the Brunswick Railroad Museum — Join museum staff and volunteers dressed in period attire for an evening of ghostly tales and local legends in the candlelit halls of the Brunswick Railroad Museum. Tour starts at 8 pm and lasts approximately one hour. Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5. See site for reservation and cost information.
