First Saturday, Oktoberfest, and More Fall Fun

Fall is upon us and so the weekends are chock-full of fun. These three are just a sampling of what’s happening this weekend:

  • First Saturday – Into the Night – an evening of Halloween fun for the family.  Try your costume on for size and come downtown for merchant trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, scary movies, live entertainment and more!
  • Frederick Oktoberfest – Bratwurst, Oktoberfest bier, German wines, dancing, music, children’s events and much more! And it all benefits Frederick County charities. Taking place Saturday and Sunday.
  • Fall Festival Weekend at Rose Hill Manor Park – Enjoy autumn foliage while attending the Frederick County Farm Museum Association’s Annual Fall Festival. Activities include hay rides, tractor pull, pedal tractor pull, steam engine saw mill demonstrations, craft vendors, farm animals and exhibit areas. Come out to enjoy home-style food, apple butter boiling, music, craft vendors, and more. Taking place Saturday and Sunday.

For more events check out the Frederick Tourism site or the Frederick Community Calendar.  Please feel free to share any  events in the comments as well.
