Some Frederick fun to keep you busy this weekend:
- Jiggy’s Summer Improv Weekend – Get out of the heat and join us for 2 evenings of Improv Comedy by some of the funniest people around! MET’s own James “Jiggy” McGarvey hosts a weekend of slammin’, jammin’ improv comedy. Tickets: $10. Friday, July 29 & Saturday, July 30 at 8:00 pm.
- The Arc of Frederick County Crab Feast – Price includes crabs, Famous Dave’s macaroni & cheese, pasta salad from Renaissance Chef, Caterque BBQ baked beans and cole slaw, KFC fried chicken, Bonefish Grill key lime pie, Uncle Ralph’s cookies, Dutch’s Daughter’s dessert tray, beverages, beer, and live music. Cost: $45/person or $40/person if you are a member of The Arc. Saturday, July 30, 2011 – 12:00-4:00 pm at Utica Park.
- Summer Concert Series: Tom Principato Band – Sunday, July 31st, 7:00 pm at Baker’s Park Bandshell. Free, but raffle tickets will sold to support Celebrate Frederick.
- Swing in the Garden – Turn back the clock to the era of big bands at the Historical Society’s annual music in the garden event! Live music by the Star Spangled “Little” Big Band will be hot and the food scrumptious. Classic cars courtesy of the Classic Car Club will be on display. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets are now on sale by stopping by the Museum of Frederick County History or calling 301-663-1188 x108. Saturday, July 30, 7:00-9:30 pm at the Heritage Garden.
