The Frederick Weekender: Feb 18-20, 2011

Here a couple things to keep you busy this weekend:

  • Where the barn sales are — Browse monthly tag sales throughout Frederick County barns; where the sales are about “finding something that’s been re-envisioned, reclaimed and re-purposed,” says Virginia Crum, who owns one of the barns. (This a hold over from last week’s post).
  • Beth Sholom Congregation Casino Night — Join us Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. for a Las Vegas-style event. Gaming tables—Blackjack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Craps, Roulette, Slot Machines—a silent auction and prizes, along with a martini bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts round out what is sure to be a fun-filled evening. Tickets, which include $10,000 in playing chips, food and two drink tickets, are $40 in advance or $50 at the door.
  • There is also a couple things going on at the Fairgrounds this weekend, including an antique tractor toy show.

You can browse more events on the Frederick Tourism site. If you know of any fun things to do please share them in the comments.
