  1. I was curiou about this progressive dinner thing that was to take place last week. Obviously, I didn’t go to the dinner this time. I am looking for anyone that did go to hear what it was like.
The idea of these dinners does sound like fun to me. I wonder things like, do lots of people go? and is the pace comfortable as you go from place to place, or is it rushed?

  2. Oh my Goodness! That’s next month! That’s great, actually…I may be able to go myself.
I still wish I could hear from some people who have gone before I decide.

  3. I’d like to know how many ‘new’ people come to these things. I have a real fear of showing up at some of these events only to find that it’s been a clique of certain people and while they like to advertise for more participation the truth of it is they prefer it to be the same familiar group every time. We stopped going to the wine tasting dinners at Mealey’s when it got very creepy – – the same people showing up every time and it felt like some sort of secret society thing. The people involved will say they always welcome new people, but then when you go it’s abundantly clear they all know each other and can’t figure out who you are or why you’re there. I’ve actually been asked “Who do you know? Whose friend are you?” That will keep me from attending anything for the first time.
