The self-described “Frederick’s Favorite Adult Night Club”, Pastimes Cafe in the Hampton Inn, is having a New Year’s Eve party.  Cost is $120/couple or $240/couple with a hotel room.  That cost includes open bar, snacks and more.

Frederick Cellars is having a party from 9:30-12:30 (scroll down the page to the bottom).  Cost is $40/person and a prepaid reservation is required.

  1. By the way, feel free to add in comments any NYE events you’d like to share with us. I’ve added a few since the initial post and will add more when I hear about them, so keep checking back!

  2. Quynn’s Attic is offering a special menu and Frederick Cellars is having some sort of party. I’m not sure if they have information posted on their web sites, but my husband and I received e-mails. We already have NYE plans, so we deleted the messages, but I’m sure you can find out additional details by calling Quynn’s or Frederick Cellars.

  3. DanceWorks, Ballroom and Latin is having a New Year’s Eve dance at 500 W. Patrick St., 2nd floor, Frederick, MD 21701 (next to Rita’s Italian Ice). Tickets are $20/person in advance, $25/person at the door. Black Tie suggested. We’ll be ‘Dancing through the Decades’: 40s music at 7pm, 50s music at 8pm, 60s music at 9pm, 70s music at 10pm (that’ll be a Big Hit with our age group :-), 80s music at 11pm, 90s – today from after Midnight to 1pm. We’ll have a sparkling cider toast at Midnight, in addition to a punch fountain, (non-alcoholic), chocolate fountain, coffee, tea, veggie and fruit trays, mini quiches, cheese and crackers, and cupcakes. Suede-soled ballroom shoes are required on our new maple dance floor. We have some to lend (call in advance to reserve your tickets and your shoe size). Shoes may also be purchased at Footlights on East Church Street in Frederick.

  4. Cozy Inn in Thurmont, Maryland has just reduced our price for Executive suites on New Years Eve. Available for a rate of $125 for New Years Eve night. These rooms include a fireplace, jacuzzi, king or queen bed, wet bar, DVD and individually decorated. Stay where the presidential cabinets have held their meetings since the inception of Camp David, 1942. Call 301-271-4301 for reservations prepay is required.

  5. Are there various places in downtown to go for N Y’s? In the summer I come downtown and various places are open and I can walk to different places. Same New Years Eve? Thanks!
