Frederick’s first Restaurant Week
Adding to Frederick’s culinary clout as a dining destination, the details of Frederick’s first Restaurant have been announced. From the Gazette: (Warning:, I added the links to the article and some of the sites have music playing.)
Restaurateurs from across the county gathered at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in downtown Frederick this week to announce the first Frederick Restaurant Week.
Representatives from several local restaurants were on hand, including Brewer’s Alley, Acacia Fusion Bistro and Firestone’s Culinary Tavern.
The promotion will be held March 8-14 and is a joint effort of Downtown Frederick Partnership and the Tourism Council of Frederick County. Participating restaurants will offer two- and three-course lunches for $15.10 and $20.10, respectively, and three-course dinners for $30.10, plus beverages, tax and tip. Participating restaurants will create a special menu for the week.
Other participants are Cacique, Café Nola, Isabella’s Taverna and Tapas Bar, Magoo’s Pub & Eatery, Volt and Mick’s New American Bistro, plus New York J&P Pizza in Urbana.
