Ferrets at the Motel 6

I’m always on the lookout for things to do around Frederick to share with you all. While pursuing the The Next 72 Hours paper this morning this event caught my eye:
Frederick Dooktoberfest Ferret Competition will open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct 31 at Motel 6, 999 W. Patrick St., Frederick. Event will feature more than 300 local ferrets as well as ferrets from across the country. $5 for persons 16 and older, $2 for children from 7 to 15; and free for children under 7.
