Frederick’s Best closed

I just noticed that Frederick’s Best Antiques is closed and the building is for lease.  This is the place that’s located at East and E. 2nd Streets, across the street from Antique Imports.   That’s too bad.  We used to love wandering through there and we especially liked the room upstairs with the African art and masks.

    hate to see that happening…. i would guess a sign of the times, but will remain optimistic it was for their own reasons not the economy. if you can please remember to support our local small businesses, they need us more than ever

      Here Here! Let us all try to do more to patronize the small/local business. We will all be better for it in the long run, and so will our beloved hometown Frederick.

        Have you heard of the “3/50 Project”?

        3: What three independently owned businesses would you miss if they disappeared? Stop in. Say hello. Pick something that brings a smile.

        50: If half the employed population spent $50 each month in locally owned independent businesses, it would generate more than $42.6 billion in revenue. Imagine the positive impact if 3/4 of the employed population did that…
