Top Chef premiers tomorrow

2009 August 18

When I wrote the post about Bryan Voltaggio of VOLT appearing on Top Chef this new season, I quoted from the Baltimore Sun that the show was to start on August 26th.  Apparently, that information is wrong because Bravo moved the start date up a week.  The show actually starts tomorrow night,  Wednesday, August 19th at 9:00 PM.  I don’t know what channel that is on cable (can someone leave a comment with the channel?), but it’s channel 273 on DirectTV.

Check out a teaser video with the Voltaggio Brothers!

I’ve noticed the previews say “Brother against brother.” And make it very dramatic-sounding. :) I’ll probably tune in, thanks for the reminder.

I’m definitely watching. Will be interesting to see the brothers compete against each other.

Okay, I confess I didn’t visit this site in the past few days, and so didn’t know the show would be on last night already until I read about it in the FNP (always excellent delivery of event news the day after it happens :-p) this morning. Is anyone planning a public showing of their taping or if the episode will be rebroadcast? Thanks.

If it’s on Bravo, they will replay it ad nauseam. Go to Bravotv.com to find out when.

Ha…forget watching, I’m nursing an unhealthy obssession with it. We’ve been into this show since the beginning and having somebody to cheer for makes it pretty exciting. I love that the show gets you really interested in cooking and while the characters are memorable (and I love the camaraderie that emerges) it’s not all reality show drama.

Yes! It’s fun that the Voltaggio brothers won back to back.

This is my first time watching this particular show so I’m still trying to figure out the nuances of the challenges. It’s pretty cool seeing Bryan on there though. He is definitely doing Frederick proud!
