Entertainment announced for 2009 Great Frederick Fair

The website for the Great Frederick Fair has announced the entertainment for the 2009 Great Frederick Fair.  There are a few surprises in the line-up, most notably that Foreigner (turn your speakers down if you are at work!!) is going to be playing the fair on Thursday, September 24th (I’m sure my daughter will be thrilled that Foreigner will be playing on her 17th birthday!  NOT!).

For the first time performing at The Great Frederick Fair, Foreigner, will take center stage
Thursday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m. Reserved track seats are $35 each, and reserved grandstand
tickets are $30.

Other notables are Billy Ray Cyrus (keep that sound down!) on September 19th,  Brenda Lee and  Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers on September 20th.  The Tractor Pull will be on September 21st.  The Demolition Derby will be on September 22 and the FMX Freestyle Motorcross Championship series will be on September 23rd.  Josh Turner will perform on September 25th and The Imperial Stunt Car Drivers will perform on September 27th.

For the first time in many years, The Great Frederick Fair is bringing back a car stunt show,
provided by Imperial Stunt Car Drivers Saturday afternoon, Sept. 27 (sic) in front of the grandstand
with show tickets at $20 each.

Saturday night the 26th has a performer that’s to be announced.

Saturday evening’s performer can not be announced due to contract terms until on or before June
13.
