by Liz

The cafe in the Spring Ridge plaza (near Weis grocery store) has a new owner and a new name.  It’s now called Bella Ragazza Cafe & Gelateria and they are having their grand opening this Saturday, March 28th.  There will be face painting, an Easter Egg hunt for kids aged 2-7 between 10 and 11 AM and music between 1 and 4PM.  There will also be free samples of 18 flavors of gelato and free hot dogs and barbecue.

The address is 6109 Spring Ridge Parkway and the phone number is 301-360-9999.

Mmmmm, I love gelato! I hope it’s fresh-made in their store.

Apparently the store owner also has a few obnoxious and wildly untrained dogs. Seems to handle things with a small bat. I thought Frederick was dog friendly!

What does the Bella Ragazza Cafe have anything to do with dogs. There are no dogs allowed and the dogs live far away from the cafe. And what are you afraid to let us know who you are……but wait I’m sure it is someone who lives very very very close to me who were taping my dogs to try to prove that they bark all the time, but wait…..they couldn’t prove it…..because it doesn’t happen.

We’ve been there as well…….what dogs??? It’s in a shopping center! We used to live in Spring Ridge, still go to visit friends and use the stores and barber shop, and all the dogs that we’ve ever seen there are either in a fenced yard or leashed while being walked. We’re cat people, really don’t care for dogs, and we’ll absolutely stand by Carol – there are no dogs anywhere around there! If there were, we never would have set foot there again!
