Inauguration 2009

So how was Inauguration 2009 for Frederick? Did anyone go to DC (if you did you’re probably not back yet to answer that question)?

Where did you watch it? I watched from my pooter.

My other blog actually made it on the official inauguration blog. Kinda cool!

Any other inauguration fun to share?

I ate lunch at Glory Days and watched the inauguration on the tvs there. A friend of mine and her daughter braved the cold. Said it was great being there.

I recorded 6 hours of TV coverage at home, what with having to be at work on Inauguration Day.

Tried to view the oath taking live on the Web around noontime, but machine kept freezing up–evidently too much traffic.

I watched it with a bunch of family members. My 25th birthday was yesterday, so it was cool to be able to hang out with my family and watch Obama. Only crappy part was I had to go to class last night lol.

I went and watched at Barley & Hops yesterday. The bar was full, channel 25 was filming. I wonder if we tipped them off? they had some bar specials.

I also went down to DC. Pretty incredible – everything went really smooth, I had expected the worst. I think we walked about 15 miles, froze for several hours but – It was well worth it!
