I saw this on the WFMD website:

Fishing tournament held on the Potomac River in Brunswick.

On Saturday, February 14, 2 Rivers Guide Service will be hosting the 1st Annual St. Jude Bass Fishing Tournament.

“We were blessed with a healthy, happy child and we wish health and happiness for every parent and child by trying to make a difference in the life of a child with cancer”, said Mary Baker, co-owner of 2 Rivers Guide Service.

The tournament will be on the Potomac River, in Brunswick, beginning at the Campground Boat Ramp.  “Check in will be at 5:00 a.m.”, continued Baker.

Depending on the number of participants, we will pay out the first 1-5 winners and lunker.  “We’re also asking local businesses to help with the event by donating gift certificates and items that can be used for raffles to take place of monetary payouts, thereby increasing the money going to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital“, added Baker.

“The average cost for treating acute lymphoblastic leukemia per patient, is $546,000″ said Baker.

For details and more information call 717-328-9096.
