And as lizfrog stated Baker park is a huge park, runs along Carroll Creek, if you keep walking turns into culler lake, more fields, so if you are downtown there should be plenty of options for your pup to enjoy some grass! also alot of the downtown merchants are dog friendly, look for the dogbone sign on their door. Enjoy your visit! I'm thinking if you are coming this weekend you won't have time to pre-register. However, if you keep your dog leashed, the dog park is near quite a nice park (Baker Park) in which you should be able to exercise your dog quite nicely.
