Connecting baker and waterford parks
Can anyone find more info about this project? The idea of making a tunnel to connect parks sounds purty cool.

I would have reservationas about a tunnel as it is would a rarist’s opportunity. I am aware of the bike path. That is cool!!

Can you say homeless heaven? How would they police it? Would it be closed after a certain time of day?
A bike path would be far better.
I’m not sure if the posters here know exactly where the tunnel is supposed to be. The only thing that seperates Waterford Park and Baker Park at this time is route 15. Carroll Creek runs underneath it.
I am assuming that the bikepath/trail would also run underneath it – hence a tunnel.
What other way do you see to cross 15 right there? A bridge??
Any area in the park can be a rapist’s opportunity – a bush, a tree, whatever.
I am looking forward to this project – this is something that i had hoped for since i moved here more than 5 years ago.
Annette beat me to the punch. I don’t think the whole path will be a tunnel just the part to get under 15. Also there are already tunnels in baker park. They are used for the same purpose getting under busy roads.
