Father's Day
As I’ve mentioned before, restaurants around here aren’t really good about updating their websites when there are special events going on. I struggled to find current info for Mother’s Day brunches this year and Father’s Day is no different. I mentioned on my Mother’s Day post that I was pretty sure all the places I mentioned on that Easter post were most likely having brunches and I’m going to have to repeat myself here again. But I was outed tonight by someone who recognized me from that article that was in the News-Post a few weeks ago, wondering why we hadn’t done a post on Father’s Day yet. So I’m asking you, what are your Father’s Day plans? Have you found something to do that you’d like to share with others? If so, leave a comment.

If golf is an option, Whiskey Creek is offering a nice Fathers Day special (I got an e-mail, but nothing on their web site so I guess you will have to call them)
And Musket Ridge has an affordable Blue-Gray membership that I personally endorse.

The family is doing brunch at Dutches Daughter. Mmmm
Taking my 78 year old dad down to Rockville for an early dinner at A&J’s – it’s an interesting Chinese restaurant that serves primarily Northern Chinese dim sum – not the kind that comes around on the carts in steamers – but the kind that you order off the menu – kind of like tapas , only Asian.
Then….he will head home and we will make that LONG drive to Nissan Pavillion for the Tim Mcgraw/Jason Aldean show.
Hard to believe that I have become a country music fan after all the disdain I have shown for it all of these years….
