Here are some random Frederick items for you to gnaw on:
- The South Mountain Creamery is having a Cow Caper Festival the weekend of April 26. Hayrides, ice cream making, cow milking, and more.
- JJP has a review of the recently opened Mariachi Restaurant. To sum: food good, prices on the high side, views not so hot.
- The Frederick Marathon needs volunteers. Sling drinks, set-up tables, keep time, or whatever you’d like to do to support one of Frederick’s bigger events.
- Don’t forget gasbuddy.com as the price at the pump continues to rise. I just busted the 40 dollar mark on a recent fill-up
- I sum up a recent walk in Baker Park on my other blog.
I hope there is something of interest in the grab bag for you on this dreary spring day. Enjoy!

The News Post also keeps track of the lowest gas prices, at least in the on-line version. It’s getting pretty tough these days.

Something else fun coming up: April 29th is “Free Cone Day” at Ben & Jerry’s (12-8pm)…I know I’ll be there…now whether it’s Heath Bar Crunch or Butter Pecan…or how about Cinnamon Buns…YUM! See you there!

I don’t know why, but when the page first loaded I swear I read that South Mountain Creamery was having a Cow Tipper Festival… Now that would be exciting!

P.S. I volunteered to hand out water at the marathon this weekend and there are still more spots open.
