Darrell provides the text of a letter he received from Red Robin corporate offices.
Darrell,
Thanks for the email and interest in Red Robin in Frederick , Maryland . You are absolutely correct. We are trying to finalize our deal for the closed Lonestar at Francis Scott Key Mall. If we are able to finalize this deal, that Red Robin would open later this year. We are also looking on the north side of town for a Red Robin late next year. Frederick is a great area and Red Robin looks forward to opening in the future. Please visit our website in the future for openings in your area and thanks again for the email. Have a great week.
Regards,
Joey Stewart

Hey there. Glad to help! I have corresponded with Joey a few times and was aware that they were and are looking for two locations in Frederick.

Great job Darrell!
Also, don’t forget to check out the Frederick Forum over in the side bar. There’s a new question from a woman who wants to know about families living in downtown Frederick with small children.

Yeah for the north side of town next year! We NEED shopping and restaurants up this way!!!!!
Does anyone have any news on the development of Clemson Corner (with the Wegman’s), Market Square, Northgate Plaza or Riverside Center? I think I had also heard there was a shopping center to be built on Monocacy Blvd near the new Wells Fargo.

You are right on all fronts. There is not much news on the shopping center near Wells Fargo, but the other centers are listed online. Clemson Corner is at http://www.faison.com Market Square is at http://www.jbgrosenfeld.com and Northgate Plaza and Riverside on on http://www.klnb.com Check these from time to time. There are also contacts on there that you can email questions and such.
Hope this helps!

I did find out the name of the shopping center by Wells Fargo. It will be called River Run Center.

The first one I ever went to was at the Tucson Mall in Tucson, AZ many years ago.

Thanks for the link. I have contacted them concerning the center.

Mmmmmm… My favorite is their Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Burger. Red Robin may be the only chain restaurant that I can really get excited about.

Let’s hope they give the Lone Star building a major facelift. The current facade is rather dreary.

Dude:
they will most likely tear it down and rebuild from the ground up. I would love to see a Tony Romas here. The Carolina Honeys sauce is the BOMB!
