I noticed today that the News-Post has added a new feature to it’s online Local section. Who would have thought that the lowest gas prices in Frederick would have warranted it’s own section? Especially since the lowest gas price as of today is $2.77 at Costco. I’m glad I got rid of my gas guzzling GMC Safari Van when I did!

I need a new car soon, but I gotta give credit to my little GM. Has a V6, and it still can get 30 mpg…. I’m looking toward Honda Fit…

The Get Go/Giant Eagle combo has me hooked. Shop at Giant Eagle and earn money off of your gas at Get Go. I got $.60 off per gallon last week.

See this site for a detailed, up-to-date list of which Frederick gas stations have the best gas prices. (Today, it’s Wawa on Ballenger Creek Pike - at $2.73). http://www.marylandgasprices.com/index.aspx?&area=Frederick
(Doesn’t include Costco, though.)

$2.77 - lowest out my way just dropped this week is 2.97 avg and COSTCO is $2.93 }{ i just go to the station once a week with a fiddy and say good bye -
i stopped worrying about gas prices 2 years ago - still drive my SUV - (i like my big carbon footprints) - the way i figure it i just need to put in a couple hrs OT to cover it.
