We don’t have children yet, but I don’t ever remember eating off of the kids menu when I was a child. That is, if they had them in the 80s. I am very off-put by the offerings of mac n’ cheese and french fries on kids menus. Is there anyone out there who doesn’t let their kids eat from those menus, opting for more “grown up” dishes? Or am I in for a rude awakening that my children will go crazy over mac n’ cheese, etc.? (We never eat it at home.)
Sarah, I’ve got one of each. One never wanted the kid’s menu offerings, the other preferred the foods on the kid’s menu. It just depends. Kids surprise you every day.
Oh, and I can assure you that there were kid’s menus in the ’80′s. My oldest was born in the ’80′s! Haha.
I swore I was NEVER having a baby…. BUT Surprise!! Mother of a 1 year old now…..The whole child rearing experience is a “rude awakening”!!!
NEVER say NEVER…..I did….now I’m eating those words!! But who would trade it? I’ll look forward to those kids eat free days!!
