Camp Genstar FOR SALE

I saw a new FOR SALE sign on the 143 acre Camp Genstar this morning. We live nearby, but I have never been there. I bet a number of our resident readers may have a story about the Camp to share.
It is zoned Conservation, so I don’t think there are imminent plans for development. I am going to contact the Realtor and see if I can get the whole story. In the mean time, here’s the property listing, courtesy of the Frederick Land Company web site.

I’ve wondered if that property was still in use. I tried to find some history of it on the Internet but didn’t have any luck.
We went to a couple Genstar then LaFarge cookouts there – both times it rained, but the food was good.
The YMCA currently uses it for summer day camps
