A New Discussion Page

I started a new discussion page to make it easier to start a discussion on this blog. If you have a question to ask but you can’t find a exiting post that fits your topic just post a comment on the Discussion page. Then you can see if anyone has an answer for you (I’m sure they will, the readers here always have great suggestions).

As always thanks for reading and if you have any questions or suggestions please let me know.

Thanks!
Guy

I think we should discuss what a New Discussion Page should be all about. Kinda of like having a meeting to plan the meeting?

One thing to keep in mind is that the comments are linear unlike a forum where you can start new threads so we will have to do some fenagling to keep things from becoming confusing. Other than that I say have at it!

Next time you see the new Visit Frederick tourist magazine, featuring a longshot photo of our conversationally stimulating Carroll Creek walk, note who’s the only human being in the entire photo. Wonder if the editors did?

    Greetings all…

Some business partners and I have recently launched Frederick TV, a mini-network broadcast on Cable Channel 10 that’s for & about Frederick County. Early feedback from viewers and advertisers has been positive, but I feel strongly that it’s strength and value will come from community involvement. I’d love to hear some ideas for stories to cover– news, features, commentary…I’m open.

To learn more or to view a sample show, visit http://www.fredericknewspost.com and click on FNP TV. To participate in our first discussion, check out the Frederick TV Advisory Group blog at http://fredericktv.blogspot.com & let me know your thoughts.

    Cheers,

    jo

Joanne–good luck with your Frederick TV endeavor; sounds like a great idea. I’m shedding a tear because as a resident of the Damascus area, I’m locked into Comcast’s Mont. Co. channel lineup and won’t have access to your broadcast. ‘Tis a shame–most folks in my area have a whole lot more interest in Frederick than, say, Takoma Park (came across the Takoma Park channel by accident the other day).

Hey Frederick Fan…just for grins, you could catch the show on http://www.fredericknewspost.com– just click on the FNP TV tab for access to all 3 shows 24/7. Ain’t technology grand?

Good morning Joanne, I also replied via your Frederick tv blog. However, to be sure my response appeared somewhere out there in technology land, it’s repeated here. I’m an accredited staging professional with a yen for having a television presence. If you’ve seen real estate design shows on HG or A&E, that’s what I do. I work with home owners to prepare their house for the market. The topic intrigues everyone and the timeliness is golden. I’m originally from Rochester, NY where I had the good fortune to appear on local programming five times and created two half-hour “before/after” shows myself. I’d love the opportunity to discuss this in more detail…It’s Showtime! http://www.itsshowtime.net

I would like to know if anyone recommends Crestwood Village for retirees? Wondering if its a nice place to live.

I know a few people who live there and they seem to like it.

I know a sweet lady that lives there. She has been there for 20+ years. I think she enjoys living there!
