The Frederick Gazette’s community calendar lists a bunch of fun things this Saturday.

Brunswick Hometown Holidays celebration: 1-7 p.m.; downtown Brunswick. Marshmallow roasting, hayrides, photos with Santa on his sleigh, food and Old World Christmas Bazaar. Held in conjunction with Candlelight Tour at the Brunswick Railroad Museum and Greater Brunswick Community Church Tour. Extended store hours. 301-834-5591. www.BrunswickMainStreet.org

Fountain Rock Nature Center holiday open house: 2-3 p.m.; Fountain Rock Nature Center, 8516 Fountain Rock Road, Walkersville. Traditional story time, cookies, punch, old-fashioned get-together. 301-898-1460.

Museums By Candlelight: 2-7 p.m.; National Museum of Civil War Medicine, 48 E. Patrick St., Frederick. Civil War-era camp songs, Christmas carols, presentation of 19th Century items and practices. Free. 301-695-1864

All you can eat spaghetti dinner: 3:30-7 p.m.; St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, Emmitsburg. Sponsored by Catoctin High School student Morgan Thomas for her graduation project. $7 for adults, $4 for children and $2 for children 6-12. Donations also accepted. All proceeds benefit the Lt. Robert Seidel Scholarship Fund.

Silent auction: 6-9 p.m.; Hood College, Whittaker Commons, 401 Rosemont Ave., Frederick. Benefits the Hood College Equestrian Team. Items and services from local businesses. Entertainment and light refreshments. 301-696-3874

Middletown Lions Club All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast with Santa: 7-11 a.m.; Middletown Fire Hall, Middletown. Santa will give gifts to all children who attend. $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-12, free for 6 and under. Proceeds to benefit Scouts and Scholarships.

    Fun for children of all ages, this year’s Children’s Weekend will be held Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th. Presented by Celebrate Frederick and the Holiday Committee of Historic Frederick, the following is a schedule of activities:
