Brandon Blankenship is a geek, at least that’s what a new WB show is calling him …
We’ve all heard of “Beauty & the Beastâ€? but how about “Beauty and the Geek?â€? It’s a new reality show featuring a local Frederick student.
He and his family are celebrating his soon-to-be fame.
He’s a neurobiology major at the University of Miami, he plays chess, and he has a new fascination with Rubik’s Cubes.
Does that make Brandon Blankenship a geek?
“I think he’s a little bit of a Rubik’s-Cube geek,â€? said Chris Crummitt, Brandon’s mom.
His mom and the producers of a new reality show say yes.
Brandon will be starring in the second season of “Beauty and the Geek� on the WB.
You can watch the show this Thursday at 9:00 PM (check your local listings). And Brandon, don’t worry about the geek tag. Geeks rule the world.
