If you live in the City of Frederick be prepared to drive your Christmas tree to a designated drop off point.
If you plan on throwing your Christmas tree out with the trash this year it won’t go much farther than your sidewalk, if you live in Frederick.
âOnce Christmas is over we take it down we got two little kids running around and itâs nice to get everything out of there,â? said Don Lindsey, a tree recycler.
But this year, the city has scaled back their Christmas tree recycling program and will not have curbside pick up as they have in past years.
