The Frederick News-Post reports that a youngster from Frederick, Maryland got some help with his Halloween costume (reg req’d) on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Nine-year-old Tyler Kishimoto likes walnuts. He likes them so much, he wants to be one.
With the help of the Ellen DeGeneres Show that wish came true.
Tyler’s mother, Wendi Kishimoto, a loyal Ellen fan, wrote a letter to Ms. DeGeneres as part of the show’s “What are you supposed to be?” segment.
Ms. Kishimoto said her son wanted to be a walnut for Halloween, but she couldn’t find a costume for the Ballenger Creek Elementary School student.
“See, I’m not crafty; I don’t do that kind of stuff,” she said.
Ms. DeGeneres responded with a new segment titled “We can do that” and flew the family to Burbank, Calif. for the show’s taping last Thursday.
Tyler, of Frederick, was outfitted in a walnut costume on the show, which aired Monday at 11 a.m.
Maybe I should get Ellen’s help with my Halloween costume?
