One Year of FredNet

2005 August 11
by Guy

FredNet is one year old today! My very first post went up August 11th of 2004. The simple welcome message contained my plans and hopes for the blog.

To celebrate I have changed the look of the site. It still contains the same features, articles, and navigation just a new look. I figured you all may have been getting tired of looking at the same old site for a year. Let me know if you like the new look.

Also, I wanted to give something back to you, the loyal FredNet reader. Being a new parent I can’t really afford to buy you anything so I thought I would give away something that is free: G-mail accounts. G-mail is Google’s take on e-mail. It contains lot’s of cool features including over 2,480 MB of space for all your e-mails. It is still in a test phase so for now you can only get an account by invite. So if you are interested in a g-mail account, just shoot me an e-mail (FredNetGuy at Gmail dot com) and I will hook you up.

I hope you have enjoyed the last year, I know I have. Please continue to read and most importantly share your comments. That is what makes this blog interesting. As usual if you have any suggestions for FredNet please let me know.

Thanks for your support!
Guy
