Regal Cinemas Has Angered Me
Last weekend I saw Revenge of the Sith (yes, I got my nerd on) and last night I saw The Longest Yard (pretty good, but the original was better). I viewed both flicks at the Regal Cinemas in the Westview Promenade.
One of my favorite movie snacks is Milk Duds: those chewy, chocolate covered, friend of money hungry dentists are great to gnaw on during a movie. But guess what, the new Regal Westview Stadium 16 (formerly an R/C theater) does not carry them.
And get this, they don’t have Twizzlers either. They have some horrific knock-offs called Rip Cords. Don’t buy them, we ate like two of them and threw the rest away.
On top of my candy woes the bathrooms are freakin’ filthy. And last night I almost busted my ass because the floors were wet from the rain and they had no rugs, just slick floors. They also removed all the benches that used to be in the lobby and were not showing previews on the big screen in there.
If it wasn’t for the stadium seating I would never return to Regal Westview again. Damn you stadium seating!
I will definitely be sneaking in my black market Milk Duds from an outside source next time.

Oh I almost forgot. Regal’s intro sucks to! R/C’s intro with the dancing hotdog, soda, and popcorn was great. Regal, thow hath angered me!

Gee, and for a male to say the bathrooms are filthy. They must really be bad!
normally regal is pretty good. maybe they had a turnover when they did the switch. but i agree- they should be using the big screen in the lobby…especially during summer movies when you have to sit around and wait a lot…seems like a nobrainer for advertising.
in regal germantown they started up this weird 20 minute tv show highlighting movies and celebrities that plays in the lobby and on the screen before the movies…i wonder if they are switching to that.
Yeah, but they have Coke instead of Pepsi (yeah). There are some balances in the world.
They have Twizzlers now.
