Here are some fun Frederick events taking place this weekend.
The first one came from a reader (thanks CB). On Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 PM enjoy the Beyond the Garden Gates Tour. This year’s tour features 7 of downtown Frederick’s most beautiful private gardens and 2 truly spectacular public gardens.
Also on Saturday you can visit Ft. Detrick for Armed Forces Day. There is a 10K run, live entertainment, fireworks, and more.
You can watch people race bath tubs, homemade boats, and other sea faring vehicles on the Potomac river at the Great Brunswick River Race on Saturday.
Sip wine and listen to island tunes at Linganore Winecellars Caribbean Wine Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
