Chili, Beer, and Male Bonding
Last night my Dad and I went out for dinner and drinks. We wandered into Hard Times Café on the Golden Mile. We started the meal with a sampler of the establishment’s chili. There are four types of chili at Hard Times: Texas, Cincinnati, Vegetarian, and Terlingua, a spicy version of the Texas chili.
My pop and I both got big heaping piles of chili and macaroni, a side of corn bread, and a big old glass of Bass Ale to wash it all down. This cost about 25 bucks total. My only complaint is that in the past the place was so noisy that I couldn’t carry on a conversation, but last night the music was at a good level.
Good food, good brew, and good company. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Do you know of any other places in Frederick to get good Chili? Leave a comment.

I ate the Veggie chili and i got sooooo sick. I threw up for the rest of the evening. Never again!
Yikes! Sorry to hear about your upset stomach. I will avoid the veggie chili at all cost!
